Good to know
With our 12 cabins from rustic to deluxe, with Jacuzzi and fireplace, all have kitchens, TV and DVD player, phone and Wi Fi, some with separate living room, all our cabins have barbecues outside (picnic table and lounges during summer) there is a heated swimming pool with slide and ping pong table (summer only). Shuffle board and a horse shoe pit and play area for children, and evening camp fire (if weather permits). The entire Lodge can accommodate up to 60 people, and is ideal for family reunions, church groups or small conventions .
The story
Oak Knoll Lodge boasts a long and interesting past. Ideally located, Oak Knoll was the first Lodge that travelers would encounter as they drove into Big Bear Valley from Mill Creek Road, the main road into Big Bear (then known as Pine Knot) at the time. Most of the cabins still standing were constructed during the 1920s.
The people behind the property
Design & Fabricator Lindsey Kurowski purchased the lodge in 2019. She is currently in process of renovating all 12 cabins, one at a time. Her renovation project caught the attention of Chip and Joanna Gaines & now you will be able to check out the renovation on her new show Inn The Works. We are so proud to share this place with you and our story, check us out on The Magnolia Network.
