Good to know
On the coast, it’s a bodega; in the Midwest, they’re convenience stores - around here, we head to the Superette. Not just for travelers, this bright spot welcomes everyone with a funky charm that’s just begging for a good time. Tasty beverages, including beer and wine, and snacks are available to enjoy in-room or on our dreamy patio. It’s our favorite place to stay together - come see why!
The story
The Classen Inn, built in 1963, is a prime example of Googie architecture, with a shape inspired by the geometry and space-infused design of the early-to-mid 20th century. The building was calling out to be revitalized, and Aimee Ahpeatone and Steve Mason responded with a resounding hurrah!
Oklahoma City has seen inspired development over the past decade, with pocket neighborhoods springing back to life with diverse and exciting identities. Classen Boulevard runs right through the best of them.
